Equinox Engineering USA has expertise in all phases of pipeline system design, material selection and construction, from small flowlines and fuel gas lines up to large mainlines — including natural gas pipelines (sweet, sour and acid gas pipelines), NGL, conventional oil, heavy oil, dilbit, refined products, water and steam pipelines. Equinox also has significant experience with pipeline facilities including pipeline terminals, and pump/compressor stations.

The Equinox Pipeline Division has designed and installed 1000s of miles of pipelines, including gathering lines (3” to 12”), trunk lines (8” to 24”) and sales pipelines (24” to 36”). Our expertise includes natural gas (sweet, sour and acid gas), liquids, conventional and heavy oil, condensate, refined products, water and steam pipelines.
The Pipeline Division executes over $100 MM TIC of pipeline projects every year and is focused on engineering design and installation of pipeline projects with expertise in pipeline routing, geomatics, mechanical design, interconnecting pipelines with hot taps, pipeline hydraulic studies (both steady and dynamic states), flow assurance, stress analysis, hydrate control, material selection, civil and earthworks design, crossing designs as well as environmental and regulatory compliance. Nest 3 Trunklines
20 mile pipeline system including the design and installation of several 6” to 24” pipelines (water, sour gas, sweet gas, lift gas, oil emulsion) with two massive HDDs 1.5 mile x 36” ream and 1 mile x 42” ream) for major river/creek crossing.
